Atlantic has been the exclusive broker for Bob’s Discount Furniture in the Southern California area since 2016. Managing Partner Jim Reuter worked hand-in-hand with the Bob’s real estate team to identify appropriate markets and source optimal real estate in a competitive landscape. With Jim’s extensive local knowledge and experience in the California retail market, Bob’s was able to act quickly on a brief window of junior anchor vacancies.
In 2018, we announced the opening of six new Bob’s locations in the area — the Connecticut-based company’s first West Coast locations. To date Atlantic has completed over 20 deals with the company.
As the exclusive representative for At Home in Southern California, our Los Angeles team has been instrumental in securing sites for the company’s first area locations. Atlantic was able to help them enter the challenging L.A. market, and in 2019, At Home opened their Lake Forest and Riverside stores. Since then, our team has continued to work with At Home to secure sites not only in the Los Angeles area but an expanded assignment into San Diego.
Our Los Angeles team has a reach that extends well beyond Southern California. In the short time since our office opened, we’ve completed transactions as far north as the Central Valley and as south as San Diego. Our brokers are mobile, logging countless hours dodging LA traffic to lay eyes on key sites and opportunities.
