News Bob’s Now Open in Southern California

First West Coast locations for Bob’s Discount Furniture

Manhattan Beach, CA

Atlantic Retail, as the exclusive broker for Bob’s Discount Furniture in Southern California, is excited to announce the opening of 6 new Bob’s locations throughout Greater Los Angeles. These represent the first West Coast locations for Bob’s, a Connecticut-based retailer with 98 stores selling a variety of quality furnishings at everyday low prices.

Atlantic opened its Manhattan Beach office in late 2016 with partner Jim Reuter and quickly swung into action identifying appropriate markets and sourcing optimal real estate. Reuter is a veteran of the California retail market, having previously lead growth and leasing efforts for Target, Safeway, and Westfield Shopping Centers. Relying on Reuter’s intimate local knowledge and Atlantic’s deal-making experience, the Bob’s team was in prime position to act quickly on a timely-yet-brief window of junior anchor vacancies across Southern California.

The six stores range in size from 23,500 to 50,000 SF and are located in Baldwin Park, Long Beach, Los Angeles-Midtown, Huntington Beach, Valencia, and Woodland Hills. This represents the initial wave of stores for Bob’s as it seeks to gain market share across Southern California.
