With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Gloria Anselmo has built a reputation for executing thoughtful, strategic leasing across retail assets throughout Florida. She currently represents both landlords and tenants, leading leasing efforts that drive traffic, strengthen merchandising mix, and enhance overall asset performance. Earlier in her career, Gloria was part of a prominent development firm, where she played a key role in the merchandising and lease-up of shopping centers across South and West Florida. That experience laid the groundwork for her ability to position assets effectively, identify opportunity, and execute in competitive markets.
Over the course of her career, Gloria has overseen leasing for a diverse portfolio of shopping centers on behalf of both institutional owners and private developers. She is known for her strong market insight, disciplined approach to merchandising, and ability to curate tenant mixes that create long-term value.
In addition to her landlord representation work, Gloria has extensive tenant representation experience, working with national and regional brands including Shoe Show, the KnitWell Group (Ann Taylor, LOFT, Soma), Sara Campbell, Foxtail Coffee, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Her experience on both sides of the deal allows her to anticipate challenges, streamline negotiations, and consistently deliver results for her clients.
Gloria is highly relationship-driven and has developed a trusted network of retailers, brokers, and ownership groups throughout the market. She is recognized for her ability to structure creative, market-driven transactions and uncover opportunities that elevate both the asset and the tenant experience.
When not at the office, Gloria loves to spend time with her husband and their children. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida and an Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
