David focuses on a wide range of transactions including large leases, property and land sales, and more general real estate advisory work for clients throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. Throughout his career, he has represented both landlords and tenants, and is considered a strategic advisor for his clients for all their real estate decisions. His tenant advisory work has included the development of regional expansion strategies for Lowe’s Home Improvement, Barnes & Noble, and National Amusements where he has led the execution of over 200 lease transactions. His landlord advisory work has included investment sales, land sales, excess property disposition, and landlord representation for ground-up development projects. David’s deep knowledge of land opportunities has allowed him to pivot some of his focus to non-retail opportunities including the identification of sites for both Distribution, Manufacturing, Multi-Family, and Senior Living development.
David co-founded The Dartmouth Company in 1991 and led the effectuation of the consolidation on Dartmouth’s behalf with Atlantic Retail in 2020. He earned a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Suffolk University. He is an active member of ICSC, a past board member for ChainLinks Retail Advisors, and a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, David has dedicated his career to promoting local economic growth and bettering the community. On weekends, you can find him on the ocean recreationally or competitively sailing or spending time with his family.
Alison Burnside has been in real estate since college, when she began interning at The Dartmouth Company in 2003. Alison works out of the Albany, New York office covering Upstate New York and the Hudson Valley, as well as portions of Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Northern New Jersey. Her specialties include tenant representation, landlord representation, disposition and property analysis. Alison graduated from Siena College with a B.A. in Finance.
Outside of the office, Alison loves to travel, lead an active lifestyle, and spend time with her family & friends.
Evan joined Atlantic Retail in 2015 and specializes in tenant and landlord representation throughout New York City and the surrounding suburbs. Notably, Evan has lead the expansion of Spear Physical Therapy from 15 locations to over 60 and counting throughout Metro New York; helped Snipes enter the US market with over 15 transactions, and has completed transactions on behalf of Boggi Milano, The Shade Store, Carl Hansen & Son, Ject and State & Liberty to name a few.
On the landlord side, Evan was instrumental in leasing L3 Capital’s Williamsburg portfolio completing transactions with Hermes, Nike, Catbird, Brooklinen and Brilliant Earth. Other landlord clients include Jamestown, Brodsky Organization, Hines, Atlas Capital, Acadia Realty Trust and Avery Hall Investments.
From the Boston area originally, Evan currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and enjoys tennis, squash, basketball and long neighborhood walks in his free time.
David has been in the commercial real estate business for 22 years, 20 of which have been at the Dartmouth Company. Primarily focused on tenant representation and land assemblages, David has completed numerous transactions with Stop & Shop, CVS, Staples, Red Robin, Fridays, UNO’s, Wendy’s and Cumberland Farms.
When not at the office, David spends time with family and friends at the Cape where he enjoys boating, fishing and tennis. He is a graduate from the University of South Florida.
Andrew joined Atlantic in January of 2021 through the merger with The Dartmouth Company as a Broker in the Boston office. Since that time, he has worked throughout New England representing both Tenants as well as REIT’s, Institutional Landlords and Local Developers. Andrew has worked on the expansion strategies for retailers such as Chase Bank, Top Golf, Sanctuary Medicinals, Sunoco, Scrub-A-Dub Car Wash, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Andrew heavily focuses his efforts on retail site and land identification, which have led to the development, leasing, and sale of projects throughout the New England market.
Andrew attended New York University where he graduated in 2019 with a focus in Real Estate. Andrew now resides in Waltham, MA close to his hometown and family in West Newton, MA. Away from the office you can find Andrew golfing, supporting his first love (Boston Celtics), and spending time with his large family.
Ami grew up in a large family in Buffalo, NY and was always interested in the family’s commercial real estate business. She moved to Boston in 1985, received her BS from Boston University and began her career at The Triad Group where she worked for 16 years specializing in tenant representation. In 2004, she joined The Dartmouth Company continuing to focus on tenant representation throughout New England. Over the past 30 years, Ami has built close relationships with landlords and tenants.
Ami resides in Brookline with her husband and three children. She is an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and enjoys sporting events, watching movies, and travelling with her family. Ami is also on the Trust Board for Boston Children’s Hospital.
Andrew has been in the industry since 2015, starting off in New York before making his way back to Boston in 2016 when joining The Dartmouth Company. He specializes in both landlord and tenant representation throughout New England. Andrew presently works on a variety of development projects with many well-established landlords. In addition, he currently works with retailers Dicks Sporting Goods, HMart, Geico, and CarLotz on their real estate strategy and expansion plans.
Away from the office, Andrew loves to stay active and enjoys dining at many of the local Boston restaurants. You can find him either eating or playing ice hockey/golf with his friends. A graduate from The University of Arizona, Andrew earned his BA in Regional Development and was a member of the Arizona Hockey team. He currently resides in South Boston, MA.
John joined Atlantic Retail in 2020 to open its Orlando office. Prior to joining Atlantic, John was with The Shopping Center Group for 20 years and was the Florida Operating Partner for 15 years. His brokerage activities focus on strategic planning and implementation of expansion programs for national retail and restaurant chains throughout North, Central, and West Florida. John is frequently recognized for his innovation and creativity in finding new ways to present and communicate unique local market data to his clients through extensive use and knowledge of GIS mapping and market research. John started his career in retail brokerage in Orlando in 1989 immediately after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Marketing.
Away from the office, John can be found on the golf course, enjoying music on his high end tube audio system, or spending time with his wife, Lisa, and dogs, Petunia and Alison, at the beach.
Suzanne joined Atlantic Retail as an Orlando partner in 2020, bringing with her 25 years of brokerage experience. Her focus is on national retailers, developers, and land owners working on locating sites for acquisition; analyzing existing properties for disposition; and working on long term strategic planning of real estate portfolios. Major assignments have included handling the Central Florida rollout for Wawa and Target’s excess property disposition throughout several areas of the country for 24 years. As a former MAI-Real Estate Appraiser specializing in investment properties, land and condemnation work, Suzanne has a unique qualification to acquire and dispose of assets for investors and users.
When not at the office, Suzanne is an avid traveler and loves to join her husband John on buying trips to Asia to choose inventory for their furniture stores, Washburn Imports. She is also co-owner of award-winning The Imperial, three central Florida restaurant/bars using their furniture stores as the backdrop. Suzanne graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in finance and is a life-long resident of Winter Park, FL where she lives with her husband and daughter.
Chris is a Vice President for Atlantic Capital Partners, where he is responsible for overseeing all analytical and underwriting initiatives for the firm and expanding the Capital Markets Platform. In addition, he also provides advisory services throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic. Having worked for a leading retail investment sales team and two institutional real estate owners, he’s been involved with the sale, acquisition, or disposition of over $1B in transactions. Prior to joining Atlantic, Chris was a Senior Transactions Associate at SITE Centers (NYSE: SITC) where he was responsible for managing and executing acquisitions and dispositions on a national level. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College and started his career in real estate working with the retail investment sales teams at Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark Knight Frank, which consistently ranked as the top retail investment sales team in New England.
Outside of the office, Chris is an active supporter of Project C.U.R.E, The Potomac Riverkeeper Network, and Off Their Plate. An active industry leader, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and NAIOP.
