Scott Black, a Partner at Atlantic Retail, has been in real estate for 30+ years. Scott works in all facets of retail brokerage from tenant representation to landlord representation and the investment division. Scott has worked with many emerging brands and Scott’s career has been built working with large format retails such as Lowe’s Home Improvement, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Whole Foods Market, Kohls, Topgolf, and others. His focus also extends to landlord representation with leasing work for National Development, RPAI, Federal Realty, Carpionato Group, and others. Scott is currently involved with the disposition of various Sears properties as well as Neiman Marcus in Natick.
Scott graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. in finance/marketing. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, and travelling. Scott lives in Newton, MA with his wife and daughter.
Peter Lyons started with The Dartmouth Company in February of 2012, focusing on both tenant and landlord representation. Professionally he has serviced clients to the likes of Macy’s, Life Time Athletic, Compass, All Day Hospitality, RFR Realty, Kushner, Brixmor, Prudential, and Samuels & Associates. Specializing in hospitality, Peter has embraced the impact of restaurants and entertainment in the modern retail environment, taking an internal leadership role securing various transactions from hotel developments to tenant merchandising within mixed-use projects.
Outside of the office Peter is an avid sports fan who’s free time consists of playing golf or engaging in the current sporting event. During the summer Peter can be found with his true love – the beaches and golf courses of Cape Cod. Boston born, North Carolina State educated, and current Manhattanite.
Peter Considine has been working with the Dartmouth Company since 2004 managing relationships with national and regional retailers and institutional landlords. Peter’s experience in the retail markets throughout New England is vast – completing several transactions and assignments in each of the New England States. Currently, Peter is focusing his efforts and expertise on integrating retail into mixed-use environments and strategic consulting projects for retailers and land owners.
Peter exclusively works with retailers and landlord’s including Dick’s Sporting Goods, People’s United Bank, Capital One Bank, Macy’s, Core Investments, and National Amusements, Inc. Peter has significant experience in land assemblage, site identification, and deal negotiation. He is particularly focused on long-term strategic planning for growing retailers and property owners. Peter has BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Boston University. He’s active in the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Center.
Mary has been in the retail leasing business for over 30 years representing and consulting with shopping center owners and developers primarily in New England. She owned her own brokerage firm for a number of years and has represented many of her clients and properties for over 20 years. Mary enjoys meeting and working with diverse people and businesses and creating relationships on both sides of a deal.
Mary is from the Detroit area and received a BSBA from the Fowler Business School at SDSU with an emphasis in Real Estate. She enjoys traveling and spending time during the summer in northern Michigan and eastern Long Island enjoying boating, wineries, and family.
Mark began his career as an intern in the Boston office in 2018, joining full-time in 2019. In Fall 2021, he relocated to California to support Atlantic’s expanding Los Angeles office. Since then, he has specialized in Landlord and Tenant representation throughout California, with a particular focus on franchise clients. He has worked with prominent brands including Alloy Personal Training, Barre 3, D1 Training, and The Back Nine Golf, among others.
Originally from Bridgewater, MA, Mark graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School and earned his degree from the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont, where he was a member of the Freestyle Ski Team. Outside of work, he enjoys growing his classic car collection, surfing, skiing, snowmobiling, and traveling with friends and family.
Lindsey focuses on tenant and landlord representation in the urban areas of Boston, as well as dispositions throughout Greater Boston. She has worked on transformative mixed-use projects in the city, including Ink Block in the South End and The Viridian in Fenway. She is actively working with tenants such as Boston Market, Barry’s Bootcamp, and Garbanzo, and represents both institutional and local landlords including Gazit Horizons, Linear Retail, Pembroke, and GID.
Lindsey began her brokerage career with The Dartmouth Company in early 2013. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Lindsey worked on the acquisitions team at Acadia Realty Trust in New York where she sourced and analyzed retail investment opportunities. Previously she worked in investment banking at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York City. Lindsey earned her BSBA in Finance at Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys sailing, skiing, all things food, and being with family. She returned to her Boston-area roots in 2013, and currently lives in Newton with her family.
Leslie has been in Commercial Real Estate for over 22 years. She works on shopping center portfolios and new development projects of various types – large portfolios, individual shopping centers, and mixed-use developments which are becoming a strong growth pattern in several markets/communities. Leslie enjoys working to keep her clients portfolios vitalized with a great synergy in their tenant mix along with long term vision, planning for future changes in the retail environment and asset profitability. In recent years, she has added some tenant representation to the mix. She enjoys working with national and regional tenants as well as helping new and local start-ups navigate through the leasing process.
A Massachusetts native, outside of work Leslie loves traveling and beach time at the Cape with her family which includes biking, paddleboarding, clamming, and pickleball.
Joe has been in the real estate business since 2004, representing and consulting with retailers and owners in the greater New York City market. He oversees the growth and development of the Tri-State area for Atlantic Retail NYC in Manhattan. He has many national and international relationships and has been responsible for the expansion of retailers such as Life Time Athletic, The Shade Store, Boggi Milano, Chipotle, Snipes, National Amusements and Lindt Chocolate to name a few. He has represented and worked with some of the best in class institutional landlords in New York City and the metro New York City suburbs such as SL Green, Jamestown, RFR Realty, L3 Capital, Hines, Crown Aquistions, Vornado Realty Trust, Greystar, CIM, and Heitman.
Joe is a native New Yorker and received a BA from the Stonehill College and MS at Boston University. He resides in Katonah, NY with his wife Andrea and two daughters Ella and Madelyn. Away from the office Joe enjoys coaching his daughters sports, playing golf, baseball, football, fishing and spending time with his large Italian family.
David focuses on a wide range of transactions including large leases, property and land sales, and more general real estate advisory work for clients throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. Throughout his career, he has represented both landlords and tenants, and is considered a strategic advisor for his clients for all their real estate decisions. His tenant advisory work has included the development of regional expansion strategies for Lowe’s Home Improvement, Barnes & Noble, and National Amusements where he has led the execution of over 200 lease transactions. His landlord advisory work has included investment sales, land sales, excess property disposition, and landlord representation for ground-up development projects. David’s deep knowledge of land opportunities has allowed him to pivot some of his focus to non-retail opportunities including the identification of sites for both Distribution, Manufacturing, Multi-Family, and Senior Living development.
David co-founded The Dartmouth Company in 1991 and led the effectuation of the consolidation on Dartmouth’s behalf with Atlantic Retail in 2020. He earned a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Suffolk University. He is an active member of ICSC, a past board member for ChainLinks Retail Advisors, and a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, David has dedicated his career to promoting local economic growth and bettering the community. On weekends, you can find him on the ocean recreationally or competitively sailing or spending time with his family.
Alison Burnside has been in real estate since college, when she began interning at The Dartmouth Company in 2003. Alison works out of the Albany, New York office covering Upstate New York and the Hudson Valley, as well as portions of Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Northern New Jersey. Her specialties include tenant representation, landlord representation, disposition and property analysis. Alison graduated from Siena College with a B.A. in Finance.
Outside of the office, Alison loves to travel, lead an active lifestyle, and spend time with her family & friends.
